Okay, so a while ago I had this dream. It was kind of creepy, but totally able to be a story. So I wrote it! Here it is.
Prologue
Cali sat slumped against the doorway, listening to the magic lesson being taught. The dust in the hallway wanted to make her sneeze, but she held her breath. Four year olds were not supposed to be listening to advanced magic classes, but it was simply too boring anywhere else.
“There are many different kinds of magical beings,” the magic mistress droned on. “Quite a few of them are nice and will grant wishes. Others simply wish humans would leave them alone. But there are some, which are incredibly evil. These you must not disturb at all costs. The results can be fatal.” Cali straightened up. This sounded interesting.
“There was a certain girl enrolled in this boarding school,” the mistress’s voice was almost a whisper. “She was a very good Wizardess. But rather too curious for her own good. One day she ventured to the Haunted Cave, which is very much off limits. She never returned.” There were several gasps from the classroom. “But,” the mistress continued, “When we discovered she was gone and tried to go in the cave to see if she was there, we could not go in. Someone had put a magical barrier in the mouth of the cave, preventing anyone to enter. We could have breached the seal, but we decided if someone had gone to all that trouble there must have been a reason. Things unknown are things better left undisturbed.”
Chapter One
Cali stood pondering, tapping her foot. Ever since that day she had overheard the story about the Haunted Cave, she had wondered. What was really in this cave? What could possibly be so bad no one could know about it? And now her chance had come. She had woken up early and climbed out the window, sneaking here before anyone could catch her. But now, should she really open it? Cali was confident she could, secretly studying magic from the age of four had paid off. But there was something sinister about the cave, the mouth deep in shadow and the surrounding cliff completely bare of life. And the birds should have been singing by now.
“Oh posh,” Cali shook off her fears and advanced bravely towards the cave. She shivered a little as she walked under the shadow, and then came to a stop. She could see only blackness, but she could feel a wall in front of her. Its cold smooth stones seemed impossible to climb, assembled with magic instead of normal means. Closing her eyes, Cali lightly touched the wall in front of her. Sketching a doorway with her fingers, she uttered a few words and pushed with all her magical strength. Finally the door creaked inwards, and Cali stumbled through.
“Oh,” Cali breathed with wonder as she stared at the sight before her. A dome ceiling arched high above, chandeliers fixed in a spiraling pattern. They shed light to every part of the great hall, which extended far back in the cave. There were little niche’s carved out in the walls, each one holding the head of a statue. But these statues were unlike any Cali had seen before, the twisted faces and grotesque features depicted horrible monsters. Shivering a little now, Cali took a step back. She could feel some force here, some evil presence that made her wish she had never opened the wall. It seemed to draw her forward, pulling, urging her to continue on. What had she disturbed?
The chatter of girl’s voices shook Cali free from whatever trance she was in. Turning to look, she gasped with horror as her classmates spilled into the hall. They laughed excitedly, led by Hilda, one of the popular girls. “What are you doing here?” Cali asked confusedly, stepping towards them.
“We followed you,” Ferna giggled. “Hilda noticed you were gone and convinced us to come. My, I never thought you would come here! You must have heard the tale about the girl--”
“Yes I have,” Cali cut her off abruptly. “And I wish I hadn’t opened this place up! There’s something dangerous here, I’m telling you. We have to go back.”
“Go back?” Hilda’s voice rang forth scornfully. “After going to all the trouble, you want to turn back? Nonsense.” She beckoned to the other girls. “We must go on.”
“No! Please don’t,” Cali begged.
“I don’t know,” Another girl named Silva said doubtfully. “Cali’s the most advanced in magic, of all of us. And this feels like a very magical place. If she says we should go back, we should.”
“The most advanced?” Hilda’s eyes flamed. “She is most certainly not.” Cali grimaced. Hilda was a senior in the Boarding School, and it was well known that she was very touchy. “I will not go back,” Hilda repeated firmly again. “And if all you lily-livered cowards want to stay here, that’s fine. I’m going on. What could be here anyways?” She stalked forward, stubbornness apparent in every step.
Resignedly the girls grouped around Cali. They knew there was no convincing Hilda now. She walked the length of the hall, and at the end stopped a moment. Then she went on, through a door Cali hadn’t even noticed. The door, now that she saw it, looked like a black gaping hole. There was deathly silence as the time stretched on. Finally Hilda came back out, and all the girls sighed with relief. But as she came closer, something seemed to be wrong. She walked funny, stiffly, like a machine. Her face was completely blank and white. Her eyes which were flashing with anger before, now seemed lifeless and dead.
Cali drew in a sharp breath as the spirit-less Hilda stopped in front of them. “Go,” she said in a ominous tone before she fell face down onto the cave floor. Screaming, the girls fled.
I could never be a horror writer. I get too creeped out while I'm writing it! But the funny thing was, when I told the dream to Anna and Erin, they said it sounds alot like a book they read. And I havent even read the book! But there the story is. I hope I'll continue writing it.

Twist My Arm...
Lol. With a bit of Anna-urging, I'm posting. Again. :D
Most of this post, though, is straight off of my Blog [see my profile, scroll down, ect] which I'm extremely proud of.
Haha. :)
So hey! What's been going on with you guys? Here in the big -riiight- OK, we just got finished mourning. Has anyone else noticed that this week is filled with everything bad? Monday was the VA Tech shootings, yesterday was the OKC Murrah Building Anniversary [12 years], and today is the Columbine anniversary. Oh, and speaking of, the high school that I'm going to next year just got a bomb threat.
:O
Scary, huh?
Alright, Alright. Moving along.... *inserting short, copy-pasted blogpost starting now.*
Anyways, I've been writing more, but I don't know where I'm exactly headed. Obviously, I'm writing about a major character in the plot -durr-, but the plot itself isn't totally original, though I love it to shreds: WWIII. {they don't call it World War Three --- It's "The Revolution".}
I don't know. I got the basis off of Red Dawn's beginning.
This is, literally, everything in the word document that I've been writing this in:
---
I could start this off by telling you that my name is Melanie James, but I have a feeling that by the time I’m done telling this story, there’s already going to be too many lies to count, so I won’t. Instead, I’ll tell you the basic details about me; the ones that haven’t been marred with some sort of cover-up.
Most people call me Melanie. For everyone else, I go by a name that can’t be spoken or written without government consent, and I don’t think they’d beam with pride if I asked them for permission to state it in something that I’m already writing without their knowledge, and intend, if the war gets any worse, for others to see.
There’s a lot I can’t clearly explain without getting myself in undefined territory. For example, the reasons I’m a straight connection with the government, but live in a unprotected community like any other, why I’m going to a public school that while normal to the naked eye, is actually anything but, or even, if you want to delve down into the minds of the government, which I’m sure, if anyone else reads this, you’ll want to do anways, why they’ve entrusted a seventeen-year-old girl with information that not even parts of congress know.
In fact, I’ve been really contemplating that last secretive fact lately. I guess that when you’re imprisoned in an enemy camp, though, and fearing for your life, no matter what your translator says, you do start to question the things that once were certain.
There’s not five words that could fully embody the characteristics and personality of Melanie James. Sure, there probably was at one time, and I’m pretty certain that there’s many people that could try and come up with some, but I can say without a doubt, that they don’t ring true anymore, except possibly one; traitor.
---
The last part is either another try at a prologue (which the first one accidentally turned into - whoops), or the beginning of the first chapter. I don't have a CLUE!
:D
THAT, my dahling, is what spur-of-the-midnight is! Bwahaha
End of transmission. Over and Out.

Like I said LIFE!

Okay so I know this is gonna be a little off from what I normal post, I've started a Star Wars fan fiction(I NEED A LIFE! rofl, but what else am I supposed to do without power in a mucky rain storm), I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with Star Wars but for those who are(if any) this takes place during the third and last prequal: Revenge of the Sith just before and after Obi-wan goes to Utapau to keep an eye on things. As you will see I altered the plot line-as I always do*smirks* it's also a bit romanic(like 1 or 2 kisses) yes I'm a sucker for lovey dovy stuff....*hides* I have like the whole story written out on book but I have to get it online and desphire chapters because I never did so this is slightly choppy(sorry)
Disclaimer: I do not own the original Cannon, nor do I wish to publish this work, it is just for meer fun-George Lucas and his partners in "crime" deserve all the credit.
Revenge of the Sith Fan fic. Prologue:
'It seems like many years have come to pass and all should be calm within this galaxy but within these past 10 or so years nothing but terror and greed for power have wrecked at the galaxy which I love with all my heart. Senate meetings are becoming less and less barable, headaches come everytime I'm within them and some are worrying for my health, and with good reason. I do not take to evil well, and evil is brewing-I will not put my finger on it, I will not say names but I have an idea on who I believe is behind this, the "Sith" they call him-the killer of men is more sufficant. No more blood shed and distruction have I seen in all my 24 years than I have in these past 10 or so. I have taken to joining Senator Organa's secret meetings, I agree with him-we all do-the galactic senate is no longer safe. My fear is for the Jedi, for my beloved and his friends-for Anakin and Padme. Anakin has not been acting the same these past years-since the babe's were born things have been odd about him, I worry for him often. My nerves are on edge the Jedi council is now ruled by the senate and my beloved Obi-wan was called down to a meeting today, who knows what that could mean, for one only at the young age of 30 he's had far too much weight upon his strong shoulders and I fear it is breaking him down, physically and mentally, my hope is his spirits survive this war...'
The door shut quickly and Anttolia looked up from her writing in her journel on her bed, "Ben" she murmured and quickly got up.
Obi-wan hurriddly walked into Anttolia's appartment and started packing his things he had there that he knew he'd need. Anttolia walked from her bedroom into the entry way of the living room and leaned on the doorframe, "Ben?"
Obi-wan glanced over his shoulder, "Yes, Ann?"
She looked at him her eyes piercing through the back of his head like knives, "Where are you going?"
"Something's come up." Was his only response.
"Ben, what's wrong?" Concern suddenly swept over Anttolia.
Obi-wan turned around, "Something's come up and the Jedi Order needs me more than they thought." he turned back to what he had been doing.
"Obi-wan Kenobi you aren't going anywere till I have an answer." Anttolia said stubbornly while crossing her arms under her chest.
"Anttolia," he sighed, "I can't tell you, I'm sorry, I wish I could."
Anttolia walked foreward, "Why can't you, Ben? If you wish so why can't you?"
Obi-wan sighed more frustrated why must she ask him these questions "It doesn't envolve the senate, Ann."
Anttolia looked at him, a crossed expression upon her face how dare he keep something of importance from me. "I'm not the senate, Ben, I'm Anttolia, your friend, your bestfriend, your girlfriend."
"I know, Ann, I know, it's just-it's very...complicated...." Obi-wan said, he was not in the mood for fighting with Anttolia.
"Ben." She said firmly forcing him to look at her and then looked him in the eye. "Tell me."
Obi-wan took one look at those green eyes and they captured him like they had 10 years ago, he couldn't lie to her better yet leave her in the dark. He turned around and started packing things before sighing and turning around, "A has begun, Ann, I know you know that, but well... the masters have given me orders to go to Utapau and keep an eye on things..."
Chapter 1
"Ben..." Anttolia started.
"Things are happening that even the Jedi's can't explain....I'm sorry Ann, you can't come."
"Ben, but what if..." She started hiding a quiver from her voice.
Obi-wan looked at her caringly, "Pet, baby...come one, don't do this."
"Ben, I don't like the feeling I'm getting. Ben, if the other masters don't know what's going on or can't explain it maybe that means something-Ben, i'm afraid." Her eyes welled up with tears, "I'm afraid i'm going to loose you. I'm not a jedi, Ben, I'm not perfect and I know no matter what you say I could wake up tomorrow and you not walk through that door and I never see you tomorrow or ever again-Ben..." A couple tears started to role down her cheek. "I can't live without you..."
Obi-wan feeling her hurt, her pain, her worry without even trying, looked at her with his caring tentative blue eyes, "Oh, Ann..." He cupped her soft, warm, tear stained cheek in his big, rough, hand but not even his touch stopped the tears. He looked up at the cieling lightly and then gently wrapped his arms around her pulling her close to him and holding her tightly and protectively. He rested his beard covered chin on her head some how even though she was significantly smalled than he was. He lightly rubbed his chin on her head then kissed her head as he started running his hand through her silky, wavey, brown hair, "Ann, Ann, listen to me, I'm going to be right at that doorway tomorrow," Anttolia's sobbed harder and lightly lifted her head enough to let the word, 'you can't promise that or make those kind of promises.'
"Hey-hey, Ann." He lifted her chin with his pointer finger, "Listen to me."
"Ben, I..."
"I know you're scared," he sighed, "To be truthful, I am too."
Anttolia opened her eyes to blink lightly, "You are?"
Obi-wan nodded, "Ann, do you trust me?"
"With all my heart, Ben, I trust you with my life."
"Then trust me when I say everything will be alright-and when I get back we'll settle down-as much as possible....away from fighting." A smile spread a cross Anttolia's face at those words and Obi-wan smiled back wiping her eyes, "There, there's that picture perfect smile." he said causing a wetted laugh to escape Anttolia.
Obi-wan transmitter went off and he looked at Anttolia, "That's my cue....I'll see you soon." He said looking in her green eyes still clouded by welling tears which he knew he could not stop.
"Be careful, Ben." She murmured to him.
"I will, you be careful yourself." Obi-wan bent down and kissed her neck lightly then her cheek then looked in those beautiful green eyes of hers and put his hand lightly on her cheek and kissed her both of them closing their eyes for once everything seemed just-perfect.
Obi-wan lightly pulled away gently then in one movement at the same time walks off and out the door. Anttolia touched her lip where Obi-wan had just kissed her, then put her hand on her chin worriedly, her other arm rested around her waist. She watched the door where Obi-wan just walked out and then turned and walked to one of the many huge windows that surrrounded her appartment and lets her hands drop to the windowsil and looks out watching Obi-wan's ship fly out, she'd wait here but if things got serious she was helping and not even the Galactic Senate or the Masters were going to stop her. She wiped the tears from her eyes staring at the setting sun and the colors it's reflecting on the sky and the business of the city. May the force be with you and protect you in this your dire our of needed protection-this war is far from over we have not yet seen the worst to come. Anttolia sighed at that thought before continuing to watch the setting sun.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anttolia had been pacing for hours by the open windows that now over looked a pitch dark city before she decided to sit down. She sat down and turned on the tv, the news was on-she immediatly turned it off-that was the last thing she wanted to watched. Anttolia raked a hand through her hair while letting out a deep worried breath. Her transmitter went off and she picked it up look at the message on it, it was odd. She was needed at the Senate at this hour? Well Obi-wan wouldn't freak at this-this was her job and she wouldn't be alone she would be in the Senate with thousands upon millions of others around. She would be safe no one would think to take or hurt her there-it couldn't hurt to go. She got up and changed before leaving she looked at her weapon belt and decided she didn't need it and yet again started to walk off then a nagging voice-quite like Obi-wan's- came into her head telling her to take it. She sighed and grabbed her silver belt and clasped it on and walked out shutting all lights off mentally changing her away message on her transmitter and went to her speeder. Soon after Anttolia pulled up to the Galactic Senate and turned down her motor. She looked up at the building to see a light turn on in the building then she noticed more on and fighting noticable. She looked around worried then sees the temple and turned her motor up and drove over-something was terribly wrong.
Meanwhile.....
'Hi you've reached Anttolia, I'm at the Galactic Senate and I'm either busy or can't anwser my transmitter right now so either leave a message or try later.'
Bail patiently waited for Anttolia's beep before leaving his message, "Anttolia, I pray you are not at the Senate....we've gotten mention they are under attack....be careful Senator Pardonia." He hung up and sighed-what had she gotten herself into now....

My turn, My turn!
Haha. You guys are amazing - It seems like everyone's on a writing high lately!
So, I figure it's my turn since everyone else has posted in the last couple weeks, so here we gooo! [Plus, I've been uber-writing a billion different stories. W()()t!]
Actually, I'm NOT going to post a chapter of a story... Yet.
Instead, I'm giving you teasers. Bwahaha. :D
First Teaser: [As of yet, Untitled]
"I have to explain, before anyone goes assuming, that we’re not the bad guys. We’re only enforcers of something bigger than ourselves, something that we claim to know, yet don’t; something that in a flash of desert lightning, the kind that haunts the entire state of New Mexico, could bring the world as we know it to an end. We were created to limit it; to have something that while obeying and humble, could turn against the force itself and bring it down.
We are the Ayrizon."
The year 2098, and the United States is losing power. Only a force of Ayrizon, a type of police designed to keep control, has reign over anything (or so it's assumed). When the goverments of the states start falling apart and a deadly disease strikes home it seems like all is doomed as it nears the new century.
The disease, though, is man-made. And from the looks of it, it's coming from Rivynn, a retired 16-year-old Ayrizon, she's forced to fight both the disease and a corrupt government that runs under the radar, proving her innocence, with a skeptic, Trey Calvern, who's captian of an Ayrizon squad with a history as mysterious as the young captian himself, before time runs out. [[Fantasy-ish. Not like "CRAZY" fantasy, with flying cars, but modern...ish.]]
Second Teaser: The Book of Acts
"'The Book of Acts,' she read, her brow furrowed. 'Whenever there is sonethitng that you don’t think you can conquer, think again. Follow the rules, play the game, and you’ll win. This book can only be gone over once; twice if you’ve completed it and have waited approximately one year before reopening it. DO NOT, whatsoever, look ahead or move on to the next task before you’ve finished the one in front of it.'"
Jenna Verbeck has been through more than a normal eighteen, almost nineteen year old has. Two years ago, after dating for three years and being engaged for another, her fiancee and only love disappeared without a trace. Her whole future fell apart in front of her face.
But now, two years later, she's gotten better at getting over it. She doesn't think of him much, she doesn't get horribly depressed, so long as no one brings it up, though many things don't stay buired in the town of Harding Township, New Jersey.
When John, Jenna's fiancee, shows up after the painful years, she doesn't want to give up her new life for something that could end up blowing up in her face.
That is, until she found a book that was never meant for her to read, The Book of Acts, containing a list of things John had written down for her to do before she died, as some kind of game, all in his handwriting, that involves her accomplishing everything she's dreamed about...
The only way to do them, though, is with his help. [[Cliche'. But I had to find a way to squeeze the book thing in there. Alas, the story.]]
:D
That's all I have right now, because I'm way lazy and don't want to put my USB drive in.

WHEEEEE!!!!

Hi! I know this is like my second post in like the past what-two days? but I've been on a writing spree!Wheeeeeeeee!*coughs* ahem. Anyway. So now you've seen the after math of the LOTR's(lord of the Rings) and know that Lenia is dying. But how about I show you a "happier" time-say when Legolas and Lenia meet. I might post 2 chapters instead of one seeing they aren't long in any sense. I have the 3rd and 4th chapters going as well so those'll be on here soon as well as more of the post-LOTR's one. I do not think this is my best word but.....anywho tada!
Chapter one: Woodland Trespasser
By: Katie
The wind blew hard through the woods of Mirkwood. it ruffled the leaves on the ground as a stranger stumbled tiredly and painfully into the wood.
The stranger was a young woman around 17 years of age. She was wearing a tattered and torn long sleeved v-neck shirt, a shorter than knee length skirt, jeans, and a hooded cloak. On her back in a case lay battered bows and arrows, on her hips lay an utility belt which held weapons of all shapes and sizes(all of which had obviously been used recently). All together she looked beaten and worn as she stumbled a long unsteady and weak. "Dear kalina en' Eldar sut have amin come sina far-how amin survive iire ikotane nir'?" (Dear light of Eldar how have I come this far-how did I survive when so many were lost?) She murmured in her native tongue under her breath to the stars which were now blocked by the shining sun. Dizziness and nausea was starting to take her over.
There was a ruffling of bushes around her and whispers-she had known the whole time she was not alone but now it was evident. Before she knew it her bow and arrow case was being ripped from her back and her utility belt from her waist. She was grabbed hard on the arms as 30 or so arrows were pointed at her face. The force of the grab made her collapse but the figure yanked her up to her feet.
At this point she was slowly loosing conciousness. "You are tresspassing on royal land." was all the man holding her said before they started heading back to the city not caring about her well being.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To the nearly unconcious girl it seemed like hours before they reached a city. She was shoved hard into the middle of a semi-circle, expected to stand, but her strength had dissapeared due to the amount of walking she'd done. She collapsed to the ground with a hard thud. Before she hit the ground face first she saw a glimpse of a castle and what looked to be it's prince.
"What's this?" Legolas said walking down the steps of the castle.
"We found her in the woods, armed." The head guard said throwing her bow and arrow case as well as her utility belt beside her.
The girl winced at the hard voice and the sound of the case and belt hitting the ground. Legolas walked over to her and survayed her with his eyes. He paid close attention watching her as she lay there almost lifeless. His eyes ran down her tattered and torn clothing smeared with blood and dirt when he noticed a large deep gash on her leg and yet another on her forehead and matching ones on her arms, "She's injured." He said, "put down your weapons." He commanded and reluctantly they did so. Legolas knelt beside the girl, "Can you stand?"
"Yes." She said her voice tired as she braced herself to stand. The world around her was spinning once she stood.
"I'm going to take you inside." Legolas told her as he stood up.
The girl nodded placing her hand on her forehead feeling dizzy. She attempted to follow Legolas but blackness over took her and she fell towards the ground. Legolas turned quickly and swept her instinctively into his arms.
Chapter 2: Late Night Conversations
It was dark by the time the girl 'reawoke'. She opened her eyes to see she was sleeping in what looked to be a royal chamber with moon light streaming in through the windows and sky light.
She sat up in the bed she was lying in. As she did so she noticed her shirt was gone and her bosom and most of her lower torso was wrapped in green bandage. Her jeans were gone along with her shoes but her skirt was still in place. She turned to move from the bed but a soothing voice stopped her.
"Lay down, you need your rest whether awake or asleep when you do so." The voice came from the corner and drew closer. Out of the shadows appeared the tall sleep figure of Legolas as he carried a large tray over to an already set up side table.
"ka amin?" (where am I?) the words barely escaped her mouth as she spoke in her native tongue. She was still quite tired and had a horrid head ache. Her throat was parched and she was still very weak and disoriented.
Legolas smiled lightly at her while wringing out a wet cloth to make it just nearly damp. He walked over to her lying her down, moving her long flowing jet black hair behind her pointed ears, and placing the cloth on her forehead's wound. "Mirkwood, you're in the palace in the land of Mirkwood." Legolas' soothing voice said.
The girl closed her eyes, her eyelids felt quite heavy. The wash cloth was cool against her skin, water lightly dripped into her large wound on her forehead. It hurt a lot but she didn't wince, infact she was so tired and weak she could barely move. She finally moved her arm to rub her neck it wasn't till then did she realize her temperture was rising. "Who are you?" She said more than asked, though her voice was no more than a whisper she spoke this time in english.
"Legolas Greenleaf, Prince of Mirkwood." He replied.
The girl whipped off the damp cloth and stood immediately to bow, "My Lord." She began as she was being over come by signs of sickness and injuries.
Legolas laid her back down on the bed, "You have n'uma need a'cu a' amin my mela."(You have no need to bow to me, my dear.) He replied as he took the damp cloth and put it back on her forehead. "Your temperture is rising-you need to keep that wash cloth on your forehead and stay lying down."
The girl nodded as best she could in reply. She watched as Legolas tended to her injuries that weren't already tended to.
"If you don't have the strength and don't mind me asking, what's your name?" He inquired.
Her mind was foggy but she fought to keep concious. "Lenia," She started as her conciousness threatened to fade, "Lenia Tigers-Eye." She replied quietly while closing her eyes.
Legolas stroked her head, the last name sounded odd Tigers-Eye, but he ignored it as he got a glass of water and forced her to drink some of it. "Welcome to Mirkwood, Lenia." He murmured reaching down to grab the blankets, "rest." He whispered to her as he covered her with the blankets and walked out shutting the door. Lenina lost conciousness soon there after....

His eyes ran down her tattered and torn clothing smeared with blood and dirt when he noticed a large deep gash on her leg and yet another on her forehead and matching ones on her arms, "She's injured." A new story
Okay, so I started a new story.
Prologue
The moon peeped out from behind a gray storm cloud, casting a weak light on the happenings below.
“They didn’t want to give her up,” the big man with the bushy beard rumbled, standing partly still in shadow.
“Well, there’s nothing they can do about it now,” the stern lady with gray hair said. “They wont have the faintest idea where their darling Reyna disappeared to overnight. Serves them right!”
“Of course they’ll know where she went,” the man cut in sharply. “Owen isn’t stupid.”
“I’m sure you still hold some attachments to that brother of yours,” the woman said slyly. “But don’t regret your actions. The service you have done the King tonight will not be forgotten.” Her voice became more business like. “Was Reyna gifted in Athletics or Magic?” there was a slight pause.
“Athletics,” the man said, his voice blank.
“She’ll need to be nursed,” the lady took the bundle from the mans arms. “Goodbye, then.” she walked briskly away. The man silently disappeared into the shadows, and the storm began.
Chapter One
15 years later
Reyna lazily swished her foot through the water. The sky just showed the faintest hints of dawn, everything was still and quiet. She snuck here whenever she could, the little pond with its floating lilies and inquisitive tad poles calmed her.
‘I should probably get back,’ Reyna thought reluctantly. The academy was about a mile away, and swords practice started when the sun rose. Putting down the little rabbit she was holding, she got slid off the rock and stretched.
Memories flashed through her head as she jogged towards the forbidding gray building. A lonely little girl of ten, tired of the harshness and grueling work in the academy, running running away. She had stopped for breath by a sweet little pond, and fallen asleep crying. When she awoke she was surrounded by creatures, chirping birds and tiny frogs and sniffing mice. That day she had discovered something incredible, animals would come to her when she was feeling bad and comfort her. After staying there for a day, she had decided that at least at the academy she could eat, and so went back. But that little pond became her thinking place, her refuge.
“Reyna!” a voice cut through the early morning as Reyna went to open the looming front door.
“What?” Reyna asked curiously as a guard came running around the corner.
“Where have you been?” he asked sternly.
“Just went for a jog,” Reyna said innocently.
“We’ve been looking everywhere for you,” the guard said. “The head trainer wants to see you.”
“Why?” Reyna asked, panic rising. “Did I do something wrong?” the guard didn’t answer, only opened the door and ushered her in. The head trainer didn’t actually train people, he just ran the whole academy. So barely anyone ever saw him. What could he possibly want with her? His office was exactly in the middle of the building, between the athletic sector and the magic sector. Students from both gave her sympathetic looks as they passed. Reyna tried to remember seeing anyone go in here. Yes, there had been a few. But the thing was, had they come out?
The door opened before the guard could knock. “Ah, Reyna,” a smiling woman said, motioning for the guard to leave. “Won’t you please come in? The head trainer will be with you in just a few moments.”
Despite all her misgivings, Reyna couldn’t help but feel curious as she stepped inside. Gasping with surprise, she looked around herself with awe. The head trainers office was unlike she had ever seen before. The floor was wooden, with a colorful rug with a fancy design on it. The walls were wallpapered, with grand looking paintings. There was a large mahogany desk, and several chairs. Everything had plush velvet cushions. Anything Reyna had known had been made by either steel or metal. Everything in the academy was bland and boring, except for this one room.
“Good morning Reyna,” a man entered the room. He was small, with mouse brown hair and fancy clothes. Pinned proudly to his chest was both the medal of athletics and wizardry.
“Good morning,” Reyna replied slowly.
“I’m sure you must be wondering why you are here,” the head trainer said. “For fifteen years you have been training. You have showed infinite promise in athletics, and so today I decided you are ready to take The Test.”
“The test?” Reyna asked.
“To see if you are ready to join the army, and serve the King.” he smiled briefly. “Not everyone is. We have to weed out the weak.” Reyna found herself gulping for words. What kind of test would she be entering? “If you will follow me,” he opened another door and Reyna went through it into a small room. It was completely bare, walls and floors made of steel. Two muscular guards stood to attention, and the head trainer motioned to them. They went to one wall and took hold of a huge handle that was barely seeable. By sheer strength they pulled back the steel wall, and Reyna entered the room beyond. She heard the thud of the wall being pushed back into place, and nervously she looked around.
The room was nothing like what she had expected it to be. True, there were no doors or windows, but what bad things could possibly happen in a room that’s walls were simply lined with books?
All of a sudden, the walls started to move forward. Reyna’s heart raced. Any one of the many books could be her route to freedom. But dare she take the risk? Quickly, Reyna reached out and brushed her fingertips over the books spines. Tingling, coldness, pain, and hotness raced up her arm. Trembling, Reyna pulled one out. She had to do this now or never, the walls were only a few feet away. She took a deep breath, opened the book at random, and looked.
What happens is whatever word she sees in the book she immediately goes there. There are SO many things I could do next, I cant decide what to do. What should I do???

Long Time No Posting!

Hi!(I just figured out I can put a picture on here so I was like YAY! sorry about the pic of Leggy-o)
I'm posting again!(it's been awhile since I've done that huh?)...anyway, you do not know what I went through trying to decide what to post-lucky I got some help. Then I had to decide which Lord of the Ring Fanfiction to pick!(very difficult) course....the other one will come too in time.
This Fan Fiction takes place after the ring has been destroyed and Aragorn has ben crowned King(w00t). The Charactor(for all who haven't read the books and such) Lenia-I made up and everything about her, her father, home, etc... a short cut on her back ground at the time of the meeting of the fellow ship she was 17, she was a ranger(she became one around 15 due to a fall through with an arranged marriage), She got terribly injured in battle and ended up in Mirkwood and being taken care of by Legolas and when he went to Lord Elrond's council she went with him-from there she went with the Fellowship out on their journey(when I post the other story all will fall into place) WARNINGS: THIS IS NOT EDITED, 2nd there is mild romance(kissing on the forehead, a light kiss on the lips.) but nothing bad, 3rd there is Elvish in here but I put the translation beside it.
Disclaimer: I don't not own the Lord of the Rings canon-J.R.R. Tolkien does and I am just using them for pleasure-not for publication.
Chapter 1: A Shadow of the Past
By: Katie LaGassie
The crystalline ball by Legolas' bed glowed suddenly, gently casting a glow over the moonlight bedroom. Legolas merely opened his tired eyes, the crystalline ball hadn't shown so bright in ages.
"Legolas. Legolas?" An all too familiar male elven voice resinated from the ball.
Legolas got up and walked swiftly over to the glowing ball, this eyes still slightly tired. "Lord Elrond," he said the name of the man whom he hadn't seen since Aragorn was crowned King, "what bids you to contact me at this time of the day." he he lightly pressed his eyelids by his nose to wake them up.
"It's Lenia." The grave tone of Elrond's voice sent panic through the young prince as his eyes snapped open-no longer tired.
The though of the young elven princess/ranger on their last meeting flooded his mind.
The reception was wonderful and oddly enough Legolas had to admit the crown fit Aragorn well. Legolas scanned the crowd sighing, soon most of the elves in the recpetion would be heading to the Undying Lands, to Valinor.
"Legolas." An elegent musical female voice spoke from behind him.
Legolas turned and smiled at her, she had obviously cleaned up for Aragorns coronation. The long sleeved light blue and white v-necked chinese dressed reflecked the colors within her eyes so did the long navy blue cloak she had on aswell. Her hair spilled over her shoulders gracefully. "Lenia." He smiled again staring into her crystelien light blue eyes and then leaned over and kissed her brightly colored lips. Instead of her falling into his grap like usual she barely responded. Legolas pulled back quickly to look at her. "Keh mani naa ta amin mela?" (What is it my love) He spoke in his native tongue.
Lenia's crystalline eyes cloud with emotion at the sound of love in his voice. "We need to talk my one." Though being now only 18 and one of the younger elves Legolas had noticed she spoke and sounded(in her own right) remarkably like her uncle, Lord Elrond.
"What is wrong?" Legolas caressed her pale freckled cheek with his fingers in order to stare into her eyes which she now was trying to avoid.
"Come." She set the golbet of elven wine she carried on a table and took his hand leading him into an unused room. She held his hand tight, almost like a life line, as she turned to face him. She took a ragged breath before looking at him.
Legolas held her hand and pulled her to him and placing a lingering kiss on her forehead. "What's troubling you, love?"
Lenia sighed and looked down, tears welled within her eyes, "My family," She started and then trembled as she felt Legolas's hand rub her arm to comfort her, "They want me to take a ship to Valinor with them-they want me to sail to the Undying Lands."
Legolas' heart stopped, "But?" He managed to ask, knowing she was not through.
"I don't want to leave-I'd be leave Aragorn, Arwen and all of them behind...and you." Her hand slid out of his and to her side.
Sorrow flowed over Legolas as he thought of never seeing Lenia again, but the he thought of the pain she'd have in her heart forever at the loss of her kin. He sighed to himself before responding, "Go."
Lenia looked up at him, "Mani?" (What?)
"Go with your kin to the Undying Lands, live in the peace there-you'll be happy." Some where deep inside he knew otherwise but he had to hope for the best.
Tears pooled over Lenia's dark eye lashes, "Mani?(what) Why are you saying this? I-I thought you'd want me to stay." Her whole body tremored.
Legolas straightened up showing no emtion, if he wasn't forceful he knew Lenia was going to make a mistake, "You need to be with your family-where it's safe. You don't belong here with me. Do as your parents wish you to."
Pain struck Lenia's hear hard, "You don't want me to stay?"
Legolas looked into her pained, heart broken eyes while trying not to hug her and comfort her like he wished to."No, I don't." He said slowly to convince himself.
That was all it took, he felt Lenia go limp beneath him, tears escaping her eyes like water falls. The sound of her tears tore at his heart but he stayed in composure while lightly rubbing her back. She tore quickly from his grap, her eyes were bloodshot though tears were streaming from them still.
"Meleth."(love) Legolas said gently while attempting to wipe her tears.
She whipped her head away, "n'uma." (no) She murmured at his touch. "I don't want to talk to you-not now, not ever." She walked quickly to the door before turning to into his eyes. Her stare broke his heart, "Namaarie, utinu en lokirim." (Farewell, son of snakes.) Legolas winced at the insult but did not take it to heart. She didn't mean it she was just mad at him and upset-she'd get over it...someday. Lenia turned on her heel tears still streaming down her cheek as she slammed the door. The sound of the door slamming echoed threw the Castle.
Aragorn turned to watch the young elf storm crying from the castle-as did everyone else. Arwen looked concerned from where her cousin had been over to her beloved. Voices started to whisper about why the elven princess of Nastar had left so distrot.
"Excuse me my friends, I have some buisness that needs some tending to." Aragorn said as he got up swiftly. The look in his beloved's eyes told him she was just as worried as he was.
"Nin melda." (my dear) Aragorn said as he came upon the young sorrowful elf maiden whom had become like a sister to him over the years. A sob escaped Lenia and shook her. Aragorn reted his hand on her shoulder squeezing it in a caring way, "Mani marte?"(what happened)
Lenia sunk to the grass covered ground, "Ro hyarya amin." (he left me) Tears fell harder from her crystalline eyes as the realization of thoughs words sunk in.
Aragorn instinctively sat beside her wrapping his arms around her. "Huch, my dear." He craddled the elf maiden like he had when she was young. He had not seen the young woman so distrot except for once when some boy in her "school" had been mean to her when she was a little girl. As well as a time when he was preparing her for her years as a ranger. She had messed up horribly and though he had attempted to ease her nothing could and she went into being in a deep solitude as she tried desprately to do it right. When she did though he'd never seen her brighter.Accept with Legolas. The last time he could think up was about 3 years ago when she had been forcefully married. When she had begun to love him and trust him deeply he left her like she was nothing, for some one else. It broke her heart. "Nessa Elen-sar."(Lenia Kin-dal) He spoke gently as he used the elven name some had given her as a child. "Amin caela uuma sinta Legolas a' uma ai'nat' a' awra ai'er- ellar nurta caela saian la reason ten' ho a' kel, nin melda." (I have never known Legolas to do anything to hurt anyone-there must have been a reason for him to leave, my dear) Aragorn said as soothingly as possible while he stroked her jet black hair.
Yet another hard sob shock her small body, she was not as tall as the toher elves she was no taller than 5'4" or 5'5" which compared to most elves was small. "I told him I didn't want to go to Valinor-I want to stay with him. When I did he told me he didn't want me to stay." Her breathing was hard and she could barely speak.
Anger boiled deep inside Aragorn, he didn't like seeing Lenia in such a state but more so he didn't know why Legolas would say such a thing to the girl Aragorn thought he had loved.
The image slowly faded from Legolas as yet another interjected-her departure.
All the friends stood awaiting the sign of departure. Lenia hugged Aragorn, the hobbits(except Frodo), Arwen, Gimli, and then she came to Legolas. She hesitated before lightly lifting her hand in an elven gesture. Her heart panged with the want to hug him but she couldn't, she knew he wouldn't want it and her heart couldn't take anymroe pain.
Legolas looked into Lenia's eyes her heart was easy to see from there-it was shattered. He felt suddenly small as he lightly nodded and returned the gesture. He hated hurting her so much but he knew it would be for the best.
Tears welled within Lenia's eyes and she turned and walked away from her friends and over to the ship and watched as everyone else said goodbye. She struggled hard to keep her composure and not to breack down crying. She was soon surrounded by the rest of the travelers to Valinor. They all raised their hands in silent farwell as they climbed upon the ship and set sail to the Undying Lands.
As the lands that were too familiar to her faded out of sight unushed tears streamed from her eyes and down her cheeks.
A masculine hand laid on her shoulder she looked up to see her father, Lord Sryston of Nastar. Lord Sryton sat down quickly by her side his silken robes cushioning the fall from such a height, "My precious child." He said cupping her face with his long slender hands. Concern swept over him at the sight of his daughters tears. "What troubles, thee?" He scanned her face with golden eyes sparkling with love for his only child.
Lenia closed her eyes as tears flow over the black lashes of her eyes, "Tis nothing father." She spoke as loudly as she could. "Tis nothing." She mumured.
Lord Sryton slipped his arms around his daughter and stroked her head but remained silent.
Lenia opened her eyes one more time to see the fading land, "Namaarie."(Farwell) She murmured before closing her eyes to contine her sobbing.
"Legolas." Elrond's voice broke Legolas from his memories. Apparently he had been talking while Legolas had been in his memory. Legolas looked back at Lord Elrond to show he had his full attention. "Legolas...she's dying."
Panic once again struck Legolas, "How, why?" he wanted answers and he wanted them now.
Elrond sighed lightly he had known the prince had not been listening, "She has fallen into a deep depression, she refused to eat, drink, or sleep. Though recently she been passing out and her strength has gotten low, her eyes no longer glow, life is draining from her, Legolas. We are desperate to find a way to make her happy, nothing has worked."
"How can I help?' Legolas said quickly without even thinking.
"We need you to come to Valinor, we think it may cheer he up to see you...hopefully." Elrond was not so sure whether or not it would help especially since neither were talking to eacother.
Legolas shifted unsure, "Are you sure, Lord Elrond?"
"We'll try anything, Legolas." Elrond prayed to the heavens Legolas would say yes to coming.
Legolas lightly bit his tongue not sure if Lenia would truly want him there-but he had to help. "I'll be there as soon as possible."
Elrond smiled at him and nodded before he faded and the ball went to resting as a dark navy blue color again. Legolas turned from the crystalline ball and started packing he did not want to waste anytime at all.
"Legolas?" Aragorn walked into his friends room. He had awoken at the sound of voices from Legolas' room. "Where are you going?"
"Lenia." Was his only response as he covered the crystalline ball with a piece of silken material.
"What's wrong with her?" Aragorn asked concerned as he moved closer to his friend.
Legolas turned to look at his friend after he sighed to himself, "She's dying." at those words Legolas' insides squirmed Lenia's dying
Aragorn swallowed hard, Lenia was much like a sister to him and the though of her dying-even though he had not seen her in 3 or 4 years-hurt. "Dying?"
Legolas nodded as pain struck his heart; she couldn't die. He had spent the past several years praying to the heavens she was happying, imagining a happy smile on her face as she sat by a stream watching the fish and smelling flowers. Apparently his hopes and dreams for her had fallen to pieces long ago. "Lord Elrond hopes that by seeing me it might help her-though I believe you'd help more."
Aragorn had to admit he was not sure how much Legolas would help, he infact could have the adverse effect of what they wanted. Though he had to admit again he could do the same thing himself-though for seperate reasons. If Legolas went and Lenia did get better because of it and fell back in love she'd be crushed when he left again. Course Aragorn himseld and Lenia were not lovers but a long time ago they had become as close as siblings. If Aragorn were to go, there would we sure happiness but also extreme sadness-when he left-for both of them. "Perhaps," he started as he tried to find a positive outlook on the situation, "perhaps you two will get to talk about things that have been left unsaid. You never know-maybe this meeting will bring you two at least back up to being friends once more."
"That would be nice, considering we're not even there now." Legolas said, he truthfully would be happy to be at least friends with Lenia once again. It had hurt him when Lenia had left without a word so mad and upset all thoughs years before. He thrusted his bag onto his back while grabbing his bow and arrow set. "Think, I'll need it?" He asked as he turned to look at Aragorn.
Aragorn shrugged raking a hand threw his hair, he knew if he himself was in Legolas' position and it was Arwen he would be just as-how we shall say-scattered brained? But this wasn't Arwen-this was Lenia. The girl Legolas had convinced against her will to sail to Valinor with her family where she was supposed to be happy. He himself had thought that Legolas seemed to be a bit depressed since the "argument" in Gondor and when Lenia left it seemed to truly shift Legolas' attitude(if that was at all possible).
Legolas slung his bow and arrow case upon his back, said goodbye and quickly left-the last thing he wanted to do was waist time. Time was precious now and it was withering away at every tick and tock of a clock, every second Lenia got closer to dying, every minute her life was slowly disapearing. What would he do when that clock stopped ticking, when Lenia's heart stopped beating.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D
Okay. So.
Matter of business numero one: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNA! I TOLD you I wouldn't forget, little Ms. Thing. :D
...Moving on, *party, party*....
First off, whatever you guys want to do for Tuesday is TOTALLY fine by me! I'm in CST, if that makes any huge-o difference, but even if it causes me to get up in the middle of class and celebrate, I'm all for it. ;)
Secondly, Anna, you completely made my Spring Break for bringing up the island kid story. I've written not one or two, but THREE chapters in the last 2 days!w00t.
...Henceforth, the post.
The first part of this, before an actual chapter heading, is kind of where I left it off from a couple months ago. Then there's a chapter that I wrote back then, but kind of forgot about. The last chapter on this post (I have moorreee! Squee!) is one of the ones I recently wrote.
Soo.
Here we gooo...
(For anyone who read the other parts, I changes the girl Sam's name to Tali. It made it easier to figure out, ahaha.)
---------------------------
"I do not," I told myself aloud, my voice carrying after the retreating figure pitifully. "want to be the first one off of the island."
Sighing, I sat back down on the beach and watched the waves roll off the coast. It had even sounded like a lie to me.
After what seemed like hours, my eyes red and tired, the sun had sunk below the horizon. My feet were cracked and chapped where they weren't bandaged and my thumb had long ago been rewrapped with a new leaf I'd found on a nearby tree and some aloe I carried in a little pouch on my twine belt. I was alone, sorry, and feeling pretty pathetic.
Of course, that was when I finally went insane, and heard someone talking, the sound coming from the waves. It was weak and surprisingly gentle and in some ways, I guess it was almost to be expected.
Hello, Tali.
Inserted Chapter: Allies.
The cryogenic lab smelled of Windex and disinfectant, which, as Sam noted as he came through the door, made you want to turn straight back around and not try to remember the place; It smelled like a typical doctors office.
"Where are they?" He asked quietly. The three workers who were in a small office in the middle of the room all turned and looked at him. As soon as they saw Dr. Graeden, they hurriedly turned back to their work.
"All around you." a male voice replied. Sam could almost hear him smiling.
Dr. Graeden smiled. "Sam, I'd like to introduce you to James Ghent, the head of all things relating to these six, well, four now, children. James?"
James stepped out from behind the booth, where he'd been looking at some charts, and nodded towards Sam. He couldn't have been more than nineteen, and had dark brown hair that almost covered his crystal blue eyes, not to mention a strong build and olive skin, hinting at an Italian origin.
"Nice to meet you." Sam said, rather confused. He was almost as young as Sam, meaning...
"You hired another intern?" Sam whispered to Dr. Graeden. She rolled her eyes and laughed. James, hearing this, smiled.
"No, I've been working here for three years now. My grandfather founded this place. But it's nice to see someone I actually hired every now and then."
Sam smiled. He seemed relaxed, but solemn at the same time. Plus, he had hired Sam. What could be wrong with him then?
"Anyways, to answer your question, the children are in the walls."
Sam looked at him for a moment. James was smiling at the walls now. "They're the greatest thing to happen, so I've been told by several government foundations."
The statement sent chills up Sam's back. Government foundations? He carefully resigned himself and smiled. "Ah... What makes them special?"
James was examining Sam, his eyes holding a certain expectation in them. "They're frozen, and still alive. Actually, 'frozen' isn't a great word for it. Here."
He walked to the wall and opened a door, motioning Sam to enter. He did so, Dr. Graeden following. Her expression was wild with excitement, and, thought Sam, surprising himself, looking twenty years younger than her sixty-seven.
The room James led them into was dark, with five theater-type seats and a LCD screen and projector plugged into a laptop that looked to be several years old, a Dell, right before they stopped making laptops.
"It's our informational video," he explained, waking the computer. "Sit back and enjoy. I've got a lot of work to do, but either way, Dr. Graeden," he said, nodding. "I'd like you to test the video and make sure it thoroughly explains the children."
James clicked once more, and all was pitch dark except for the screen. As the title, "Children of the Lab", flew onto the screen, Sam panicked as a hand flew over his mouth.
"Don't worry." James whispered. "I just need to talk to you."
Sam nodded and James' other hand guided him to the exit, darkened by black curtains. When they finally reached the light and Sam was a safe distance from calling Dr. Graeden, James took his hand off of Sam's mouth.
"Sorry."
"What was that for?" Sam demanded. "Couldn't you have given me fair warning or something?"
James frowned. "Look, I said sorry. Graeden wouldn't have let you go if she'd known what I was going to show you."
Sam immediately looked around. None of the other workers he'd seen when he'd first gotten access in the room were there, so whatever James was going to show him had to be pretty important.
Well, either that or he was about to get fired.
"I didn't straight-out answer your question about the children, and where they're at, and I figure that you seem like you have the company's best interest at mind." He said, pulling out a key and locking the door leading into the room they had just come out of.
"So that, Sam Collins, is what I intend to do."
Leaving the door, he walked calmly over to a computer and talked as he inserted several passwords and data.
"So Sam, do you like working for Dr. Graeden?"
Sam shrugged. "Yeah, she's great."
James laughed dryly, his eyes never leaving the screen. "Well, there's two liars in this room now, isn't there?"
Before Sam could ask what he meant, James pressed the final button and four tubular containers were mechanically moved out of the walls, into Sam's line of vision. He gasped.
"They're... That's where they are?"
"Yeah. They're not exactly frozen, it's more of a fluid like substance, but they aren't experiencing our world." Sam glanced quickly over at James, who was sitting down at the computer desk. He looked wistful and wary, leaning on his hand, and not the proud owner he acted. Pushing that fact aside, Sam examined the tubes.
The fluid inside was dark blue and metallic, leaving anything inside concealed, but with the help of James pushing a few buttons, it soon became clear.
Sam looked at the body within, speechless. It was a little boy that looked to be Colton's age, with dark skin and hair, with, Sam guessed, black eyes underneath his closed lids. He was wearing old clothes that no one that had a fashion sense would touch, and was perfectly preserved in his Plexiglas tube.
"What's his name?" He asked, awed that this little boy, looking no more than four or five, had lived for a century and a half.
James didn't even bat an eyelash, let alone look it up. "Kevin, but your Rose calls him Haden. He's seven, likes airplanes, but hasn't seen one while he's been on the island. He dreams about them, though."
At first, Sam expected him to realize what he had said and demand that he keep silent, but James' brooding eyes didn't seem to be anything but disturbed, and it wasn't because of what he'd just said.
"How can you tell?"
James looked up at Sam. "Do you like working for this company?"
"You didn't-"
"Just answer the question."
"Yeah, I guess I do." He said, concerned. Is this where the firing came in? If that's what James meant by this whole thing, then Sam would say whatever it took to keep income coming. It had taken him three years to hunt down a place to work and get paid, even while he was still in college, and he wasn't going to give it up that easily. No way.
"Why?" James's expression hadn't changed, but Sam, once again, got the feeling he was expected to be living up to something.
"I feel like I'm doing something worthwhile. It's not like I'm feeding the homeless or anything, but more like I'm saving the people out there." Sam hesitated.
"But?" James probed.
"But I can't bear to see these kids like this, and know that I helped do this. James, I'm really sorry, but even if it had taken me decades to find this job, I couldn't keep working here after knowing this."
James' eyes lit up. "I invented a system to sense thoughts, actions, and the island itself."
Sam blinked. "Excuse me?"
"Your question."
"Oh." James sighed. "I'm not too happy about it, because it seems like spying in a way, but it lets me know exactly what's going on."
Sam nodded and looked distractedly towards the other tubes. "Can I see the others, if I'm not fired completely for putting your company down?"
James smiled and pressed a few more buttons, clearing the next two tubes. "The girl is Valencia called Alice, fourteen, and the boy is Nathan, called Evan, eighteen."
Sam digested the information while staring at them. Alice had light skin and long, dark hair, with a slight and delicate figure. Evan had longer hair, blonde, with apparent muscle under his white t-shirt.
They all varied, Sam decided, and that's what made them able to live together, if what Rose and James were saying was true.
Through the door, Sam sighed as he heard the video concluding. James, inside, felt a sense of relief.
"Can I see Tali, Monday?" Sam asked. James sat straight up in the office chair he’d been lounging in, and looked at Sam full-on.
"How did you know about her?" He didn't look happy, and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms, adding to the effect.
"I... Well... Rose..."
"Never mind. We'll talk Monday." James stood up, frowning, and brushed off his tan slacks, grabbing the key to the theater and unlocking the door while shoving Sam in. His sudden mood shocked Sam, making him regret ever saying anything about Tali.
Chapter Four: Ache and Break.
I watched the waves, hoping the voice would speak again, but as the hours passed and darkness approached, nothing happened. It felt stupid to be wanting to hear voices, but since I was abandoned...
Hello, Tali.
I jumped, screaming, and fell on my back.
Oh. Did I scare you?
I sat there for a moment, fighting an inward battle. To answer would prove that I believed in the voice and that I was probably needing a straight jacket, while to not answer would probably just drive me to that same point anyways.
Here’s to insanity, I thought. “Who are you?”
The voice chuckled, the sound filling my ears like someone was talking from right beside me. It was a male voice, I was sure. I can’t tell you that yet. In fact, I can’t tell you much except that you aren’t who you seem.
Oh, joy. A voice that liked to give me riddles. How… Convenient.
“So, what do I call you?” I asked. “And, oh, can I talk to you in my head?”
It laughed at me again. This time, instead of being all mystified, I was a little annoyed. Obviously, this voice, whoever it was (if it was anyone), knew a whole lot that I didn’t, and found my incompetence funny.
I, on the other hand, didn’t.
You don’t need to call me anything, Tali. Whenever you talk to me, I will know it. I may not talk back, but I hear you, even when you talk to me in your mind.
“Oh, thanks,” I said, throwing my hands up. “That explains so much.”
It didn’t laugh, but I could hear the finality in it’s tone. I am truly sorry about that. If I could change anything, you would be more informed about your current situation.
I scooted up, bracing myself. “You know what’s causing this? You know what’s happening?”
Yes, It said, but you will find out in due time.
“Oh.”
It sighed, sounding more like wind among the waves than an actual sigh. Go to sleep, Tali. You’re exhausted and confused, and if I’m reading you right, emotionally hurt.
I didn’t say anything back.
I’ll talk to you again. Many things will happen before you wake up, and I’ll still be able to hear you no matter what. I will see you face to face, Tali. You must believe that I will be wherever you wake up.
Here we go again with the riddles, except this time, it was just… cryptic.
“Um, okay,” I said. I was beginning to feel drowsy anyways, and being awake on a beach for ten hours, doing nothing, still drained me. I lay down, back on the leaves that Evan had gathered for me, right before he left.
A creeping, choking feeling crept back up my throat. Evan…
It’s alright, Tali, I promise. You’ll be okay. I swear to you. It whispered, the harsh loudness disappearing. I’ll be there for you, always.
At that, I fell asleep, knowing full and well the voice had forced me to do so.
When I woke up, the sun hadn’t yet risen. After eating what radishes I could find, I stretched and looked up at the quickly-vanishing stars when a thought hit me: I could check on my family.
I think, somewhere in me, that I knew that someone would be missing. I also think I knew who would be there, and who wouldn’t, but when I walked up the hill, to a small area of trees that they were sleeping under, they harsh reality of the situation hit me hard once again.
Haden was gone. They were obviously, if not by coincidence, going in age order.
I pushed my new found evidence far from my mind as I saw Evan, who had tried to stay up all night. I could tell, by the way he tossed and turned about, moaning in his sleep, that he too knew that someone would disappear. Alice was undisturbed, sleeping peacefully, unaware that she was one of the last three left on the island.
My eyes burned with morning and the drama of Haden’s disappearance as I walked over to Evan’s side. I sat down in the sand, and gently, with a feather’s touch, ran my fingers through his hair. He’d done so much for me, for us, and I’d totally let him down so many times.
He yawned, only partially waking up, raking his fingers through his hair, stopping suddenly as they touched mine. His eyes flickered open, and he just lay there, staring up at me, all hope in his eyes gone.
“Haden.” I whispered. He closed his eyes for a minute, then reopened them slowly.
“What’s going on here? Why… How…?”
I shrugged, standing up and walking to the final resting place of the little necklace that had been tied securely around Haden’s throat. Picking it up, I looked back over to Evan, who looked blank, like he was just… empty.
“This sucks.” He told me. “This bloody well sucks. And now Alice is going to…”
Alice, who’d just started to sit up, looked at us with concerned eyes. “Wh-What? What’s going to happen to me? Where’s Bradley?”
Evan was suddenly rendered useless, rolling over in the sand, moaning into the leaves. Alice’s eyes turned on me, and I felt something very similar to back-breaking fear.
A little help, voice-thing-that-I’m-not-supposed-to-call-a-name?
No answer.
Please?
I waited. Still none.
Aggh, fine!
I took a deep breath. “Alice, Bradley disappeared last night, like Rachel and Haden did. We don’t think he’s coming back.”
Her wide eyes looked so innocent. Unlike her usual self, she really had no clue of what was going on, or what was happening. “And… I’m next?”
She was so scared, but I guess I had to tell her since Evan and the voice were no use. “Yeah, you’re…”
Tell her that she’s going to be okay, like I did to you when you went to sleep. The voice sounded breathless.
I jumped with the vocal brain-intrusion. Nice save, I thought sarcastically.
Don’t get cocky.
“You’re going to be alright, Alice. I promise. Nothing bad’s going to happen to you, and I’ll be wherever you wake up, no matter what.”
Ahhmm… I didn’t mean the ‘with you wherever you wake up’ promise.
Now you tell me?!
Alice looked at me and smiled a little. “Okay. But, you know, with most of the others gone, I’m still not going fishing.”
She was back. All was good.
You and I are going to have a talk, I thought to the voice. This isn’t funny. At all.
I never said it was, Tori.
It’s Tali.
Mmmm… You’re not exactly who you think you are.
But I’m obviously not the person you think I am, either.
The voice laughed. Touché.

Ramblings
So, it's our seven month anniversary on Tuesday! Can you believe that we've been doing this for seven months? It really doesn't feel like that long to me! I was thinking maybe we should do something to celebrate. Like, I know seven months is an odd number, but celebrating is always good!! I was trying to think of something we could do, since we all live in various area's of the States and definitely could not get together to have a party [:(]. Kelia suggested we do something like all get on at a specific time and do something... or something...
Suggestions please?!
Also, I feel very guilty for not posting more, but I haven't been writing like hardly at all! It's a TRAGEDY!!!! Actually, I think I'm just lazy. :0
BUT, I did start this short story the other day (week, dang it!) and I like it, I just got stuck. It was actually a writing prompt from this fabulous book I got from the library, called The Pocket Muse, ideas and inspirations for writing, by Monica Wood. (Who, incidentally, lives in Maine!)
ANYWAYS, here's what I have. It's not really edited at all, and very rough, so as usual bear with me... Do say what you think!
It all started with Mr. Thursday.
Okay not really. It actually all started... with my daily horoscope. If my Mom ever found out that I read the horoscopes in the paper, she’d be horrified. She doesn’t believe in all that stuff, and you know, neither do I. But there’s no denying what happened. Would it have still come about if I’d never read that horoscope? Who knows!
COMPANY FROM OUT OF TOWN
COULD MEAN TROUBLE
That's what it said. I giggled at the ominous warning, and tossed the paper away. “Come on Sandy,” I said to my dog, who was (you guessed it!) a blonde sandy color. Hence the name. Also, I just like the musical Annie.
It was time for our Saturday morning walk, and Sandy, who had been sitting at my feet impatiently while I read my horoscope, got up with an excited yip. Dancing around my heels, she followed me into the entry way, where I attached her leash.
“I’ll be back in awhile!” I shouted to Mom, who was eating in the kitchen. There was a muffled response, but I didn’t bother to see what she’d said. Giving Sandy a pat, I straitened up and opened the front door... and froze. Because standing right there, on my front steps, was a very strange looking little man. And I mean VERY STRANGE! He was completely bald, and something struck me as really odd about his face. (I realized later that he had no eyebrows. Weirdo) He was wearing an ill fitting suit, so ill fitting, in fact, that the pant legs only came down to his knees. And he had hairy legs. VERY hairy legs. To top it all off, he grinned, revealing a missing front tooth.
“Hello Allie,” he said in a strangely deep voice. I mean, I totally expected it to be high, or squeaky or SOMETHING odd. But no, it was just deep. “My name is Mr. Thursday.”
I’m afraid my jaw must have been practically falling off of my face. He must have thought I was completely cooky, or just really enjoyed catching fly's or something. But I was truly astonished. For this guy, this guy was definitely not from around here. I mean, I KNOW everyone from around here! I’m like, a complete social butterfly. And another thing, Sandy was completely quiet. Normally she’d be yapping like crazy at company or whatever, but she just sat there staring up at the strange man, as if she was mesmerized or something. I closed my mouth and looked down at her, pulling the leash a little, trying to get her to snap out of it. She didn’t respond. While I did this, my brain put a few things together. Mr. Thursday definitely wasn’t from around here, which meant, he was COMPANY FROM OUT OF TOWN. And company from out of town meant one thing. Trouble.
So, I did the only sane thing possible. I slammed the door in his face.
“What are you doing Allie?” My Mom asked from behind me, and I let out a startled little shriek, turning around fast. Mom stood there with a confused look on her face, garbed in her fuzzy bathrobe, with a glass of orange juice in her hand.
“Do we know anyone named Mr. Thursday?” I blurted out, still feeling spooked and desperately hoping the strange little man had gone away and wasn’t going to start knocking any moment.
Mom thought about it for a minute, and then shook her head. “No, I don’t think so. Why?” It was clear by her tone that she thought I was going a little loony. Maybe I was.
“No reason!” I said, still talking fast. “I, uh, I just forgot something in my room. Come on Sandy!” I tugged on the leash, and Sandy slowly got to her feet, following me sluggishly, almost as if she’d been drugged or something. I gave her a worried look, but then determinedly dragged her up the stairs and into my room, closing the door securely.
I took a few deep breaths, saying “Calm down Allie, he was probably just a salesman. Or something.” But then how had he known my name? The unwelcome question wouldn’t be forced out of my head. I bit my lip nervously, and then tiptoed to my window. Craning my neck, I tried to see around the corner of the house to the steps, to see if he was still there.
“Hello Allie,” a voice came from behind me. I shrieked and spun around, practically hyperventilating, to see none other than the strange Mr. Thursday standing in front of my bedroom door. How had he gotten there?
“My name is Mr. Thursday. “ Why was he repeating himself?
“What are you doing here?” I whispered. “Get out!”
The creepy little man grinned at me, and took a step forward. I pressed myself farther against the window sill, feeling desperate. “You don’t really want that,” said Mr. Thursday, and it was absolutely weird, because his voice had changed. It was now a lot lighter, and sort of sing song. Comforting. “You see, I can give you whatever you like. You can live on a ranch, and have sisters. You can have green eyes, and animals. Sooo mannny animals!” How was this possible, he was stating just about everything I wanted! I shook my head, feeling dazed.
“That’s not possible,” my voice sounded fuzzy and strange in my own ears. What was going on?
“Oh but it is,” Mr. Thursday said, stepping forward again. “You can have everrrythiing you’ve ever wanted... and so can Sandy, isn’t that right Sandy?” I watched with growing trepidation, as he locked eyes with my golden retriever, and slowly she moved forward to him, as if he was pulling her there just through the force of his eyes. Suddenly my mind snapped into focus. I hadn’t a clue what this creepy guy was talking about, but he would NOT hurt my dog!
“Sandy!” I hissed, and then, much louder “MOM!!!!” Mr. Thursday didn’t seem disturbed, but simply looked up at me and grinned again. I repressed a shudder. Mom burst into my room, looking all sorts of frazzled and worried.
“What's the matter? Is there a fire?” She stopped short when she saw me just standing there. “Why did you call me?” a hint of annoyance crept into her voice. I stared at her with astonishment, and then looked back at Mr. Thursday, who was, sure enough, still standing right there. Right next to Mom.
“Mom,”I said, my heart sinking, “don’t you see the creep standing next to you?”
“What?” She exclaimed sharply, looking to her left and right. She turned back to me, and now the annoyance was clear on her face. “What are you up to Allie?”
“Mom,” I said, my voice shaking a little, “there is a guy standing to your right. If you stick out your hand, you’ll touch him.” Mom shook her head and stuck out her hand to the right, and Mr. Thursday leaned back so she missed him.
“I don’t have time for your games Allie,” Mom said, turning around, “Why don’t you take Sandy for her walk. She’s acting strange. Then again, so are you!” her voice drifted back to me as she walked down the stairs. I looked at Mr. Thursday, who was watching her go with a curious expression on his face, and realized something.
It was official. I was now completely Insane.
“You’re not Insane,” Mr. Thursday said, turning to me, his voice deep once again. I involuntarily gasped, wondering if he could read my mind. “Your just special, “ he continued, “verrrry special. And I... am Mr. Thursday.”
And then, (I swear I’m not making this up!), he disappeared. Pouf. Gone. Just like that. Sandy immediately started whining, while I stared at the vacant spot where the strange little man had been, only seconds before. After a few stunned minutes, I walked forward and waved my hand in the spot where he had been standing. He was definitely gone. I turned and looked back at the window, which was definitely still closed. Besides, there was just about no way he could have possibly have gone out the window OR the door without me seeing. It was almost as impossible as him disappearing entirely. Almost.
I knelt down beside Sandy, who was pacing around in agitated circles, and petted her, feeling very strange indeed. I was almost disappointed that he was gone, strange as it was. He was the most interesting thing that had happened to me in a long while. The most creepy thing too.
“Well. That was odd girl,” I said to fill up the silence. I tried to ignore the trembles in my voice. Sandy only whined in reply. I figured that must be the end of the Mysterious Mr. Thursday, and tried to move on with my day. But suffice to say, Sandy and I never went on our Saturday morning walk that Saturday. I had the image of Mr. Thursdays grinning face fixed in my memory, and sadly, I was terrified of opening the front door!
Days went by, and I began to believe that the whole thing hadn’t even happened. Maybe I dreamed it. Maybe I had just gone temporarily insane. Maybe, maybe, maybe. I didn’t think I’d ever know, so I tried to forget about it.
It was a mistake. I was wrong.
My next visit from Mr. Thursday came at twelve pm, the very next thursday. You can imagine how happy I was about it. It happened like this.
I was dreaming. Sandy and I were running in the park, and the wind was whipping in my hair. It was a glorious day and everything was beautiful. But then I got a bad feeling. My ankles began to tighten up, and I knew I was going to fall. A face flashed in my minds eye, along with an all to familiar voice. “Hello Allie. My name is Mr. Thursday.” I fell.
I woke up, thrashing around in the sheets, sweating like I had actually been running, with an uncomfortable throb in my ankle, as if I’d really fallen. Once I’d woken up enough, I opened my eyes. And screamed. Because there, leaning over my bed, grinning, was Mr. Thursday!
Any suggestions for what could happen next? :)
Anna

Spur of the Math Class Kind.
So, today I was sitting in Math class, thinking about murder.
I know. MURDER. Something's wrong with me.
Anyways.
I had this thought for a story, though it's really depressing and horrible, but it would be revolving around that, and an accidental murder. It would cover the events leading up to the murder, the way it affected people who knew the person killed, and even how the killer reacted to the situation.
I doubt it will work out, and the prologue is really cruddy, but I haven't posted in a while and figured since everyone else has... :)
Warning: Do not read if you'd actually like to think that I'm not crazy, insane, or slightly demented in mind. Kthx.
Without further ado...
The bespectacled woman was leaned over the scrap paper in front of her, eyes working furiously to decipher every hidden code that lay in the markings. She said it was for my own good that she did this, and that the paper exercise was one of the few ways she could really get me to open up and reveal my inner feelings without having to say a word. Frankly, I thought it was going to reveal how bored I’d been in Math class.
Patricia tapped a gnarled finger against the sketch pad, humming. “Let me understand. You drew a heart, a heart that was scribbled out, and some wavy lines.”
“Smoke,” I corrected.
“Smoke then. So this shape at the bottom is a cigarette, Delcie?”
Personally, I found this remark offensive. The first two years of Jr. High, I’d made the stupid choice to take art and try to become an artist. I hated it, the teacher, and most of the kids in that class, but I did learn to draw a lot better.
I blew it off, reminding myself that Patricia had to be at least eighty-one years old and blind as a bat, making her opinion completely void.
“Yes,” I said curtly, eyeing her with contempt. “That would be something that causes smoke, hence it’s placement at the bottom. Smoke can’t come out of nowhere and that’s the only thing I could really think of. Why do you want to know?” I asked sarcastically. “Does this mean that I’m going to join a gang, or that my mind is on deathly habits?”
She ignored the last comment. “You subconsciously picked a cigarette; one that kills, causes pain, and is just, ah,” She held up her arthritis-laden fingers and made air quotes. “‘bad.’ Why is that?”
“As stupid as it may seem, drawing a bunch of trees on fire wasn’t exactly on the top of the list.”
She hummed to herself for a minute, then looked up at me with the full on force of her all-knowing, I-can-make-you-obey eyes, with an expression that almost resembled new-found knowledge.
“These hearts… The one you scribbled out was perfect, and yet you ruined it. The one that’s oblong and overlapping, you leave. Why is that?’
I frowned. “Why is that? Is that all you can say?” I waited for an answer, or possibly a change of expression, but none came as she waited for me to continue.
“Because I wanted to.”
Her withered face didn’t turn to the paper like I’d expected. Instead, they bore into my own, calm and patient.
“I think,” she said with practiced carefulness, “that you like the different.”
At first, I didn’t understand. She made zero sense, but then again, most psychotherapists don’t.
“Would you like to repeat that in grammar correct English?”
She sighed, and took her glasses off, setting them on the coffee table in front of her.
“I think that you like when things are different, Delcie Taylor. You like things that are out of the ordinary, different kinds of music or art, things that most people wouldn’t care to own, or even…” She paused and looked down at my paper. She wasn’t looking for anything else. She’d cracked the code and left me defenseless. “people that are too different for most to understand.”
I didn’t speak. There was no need to. The only words that I could’ve possibly said were already out in the open, brought into the room by my stupid, ridiculous sketches that I’d done in Math, instead of taking the notes Mrs. Collins had put on the board.
“Delcie,” she said, extreme caution creeping into her voice. “you still miss him, don’t you?”
Her words were meant to be kind, but opened up a wound that had just begun to heal over a little bit. Memories were torn from inside me, feelings that I’d worked to forget swept over me, and the worst part? I had no one to go to except a woman named Patricia who my father was paying big bucks for, just to get me to go back to normal.
Mom, before she’d left, told me that he “didn’t have time to see me do it”, and dad, ever the preacher, said that “God was bound to do it sometime, I just sped up the process.”
I broke down, hot tears welling up in the corners of my eyes. I tried to glare at her, but couldn’t force it.
“You… You don’t even know what you’re getting into. You’ll never, in a million lifetimes, know how I feel.”
I walked out of the office despite her protests, fighting the urge to hit something. That was the last time I saw Patricia, my eighth shrink in six weeks.
Mmkay. Depressing, sad, and possibly a horror (both in the story and the plot holes -- UGH.) So, to kind of help...

The prologue is actually a look into the future, after the murder. (Makes sense... NOT.)
The girl in it, Delcie, is anti-social at the moment.
Delcie KILLED this guy she's trying to forget. She's not a murderer, really, but just accidentally was caught in the moment, and didn't know who she was killing. Long story.
Delcie's family secretly blames her.
The therapist knows about the murder/killing ahead of time.
By the way, did anyone notice the whole thing about being "bored in Math class?" Yeah. Kind of obvious, huh?
Love... In a very, uh, morbid way?

My Poems for the Magazine
Okay, Anna wants me to put some of my poems in the magazine, but I was'nt sure which ones to do. So here are my good ones and you can tell me which ones to put in.
The Leaf
Spiraling up from the ground,
Whisking all around,
A leaf blew,
This way and that,
And fell onto the fat
Marmalade colored Cat.
“Hello,” the leaf said.
“Why are you lying on your bed?
Why do you not run,
And let the wind pick you up.
It is quite fun,
I assure you that.”
“Oh, I would if I could,”
Said the cat,
“But the wind should,
Pass me by.
For I am too heavy.”
“Tis a pity,” said the leaf
“For off I go again. Goodbye!”
“Goodbye,” the cat said with a sigh.
Up went the little leaf,
Off he flew,
And might have even landed on you!
I sit here writing poems,
Short ones.
It is like catching moments,
Pinning them down,
Putting them into words.
My mind wanders,
Dancing among the leaves of fall
Painting flowers pink and yellow in my mind.
I think of something to write about,
And start scribbling furiously on the page.
Questions
Experimenting with words,
I try out new styles.
Extraordinary explanations whiz through my head,
As I think of the impossibilities of life.
To me, those are questions like,
Why do humans walk?
Why do people insist on eating meat,
Not staying vegetarians?
I have wondered about these things,
Even when I was a child.
Now I am grown up,
And I still cannot answer them.
Shards
In the gurgling of the stream,
I hear the chorus of tiny voices.
Little fairies ride on the waves,
Using bubbles as cushions.
The fairies homes are deep within
The sandy surface of the bottom.
They play and laugh,
As if there was nothing
In the world but them.
They ride on fishes backs,
And swim as easily as walking.
They comb each other’s silky
Black hair with shells.
The bravest of them delightfully
Play tricks on each other.
They have a life of their own,
A life without pain or suffering.
Our life is nothing like that.
If only it could be so
Harmless and carefree.
At least there are shards of it.
Tales Untold
Through lessons long
And tales untold,
I see the beauty
Swamps can hold.
When my feet
Gives way to sand,
I do not fear
But go to land.
To give respect
I have learned
And in the swamp
It is returned.
For there is beauty
Deep inside,
In the trees
And in the slides.
After lessons long
And tales untold,
I can see the beauty
Swamps do hold.
My Grandmothers Bedspread
My Grandmothers Bedspread,
Seemed to go on for a mile.
I used to go to her house,
Just to look at it for a while.
It had butterflies all over it,
A blue sky that shone,
It was such a pretty scene,
I couldn’t believe it was sewn.
It covered her bed,
Twice folded over,
And her bed was HUGE!
Half as big as my room in Dover!
So my grandmothers bedspread,
Was a wonder sure to be,
But more wonderful then that,
Was that she gave it to me!
Trains
Trains are curious things.
They are mighty and bold
And steam and puff,
But it is the noise that
Marks the occasion.
And when the cars are
Out of sight and view,
The air rushes by
As if pulling invisible cars,
Or the memories of trains long gone.
And the noise continues on.
Arms spread wide like wings
My feet barely touch the ground
As I fly across the green green grass.
Squirrels play with falling leaves
Newborns squeal with delight
As I fly across the green green grass.
‘Don’t fall!’ Advises a rusty old crow.
As if I would!
The wind ripples, the wind sighs
The trees whisper and sing
As I fly across the green green grass.
Memories are powerful things.
They spring from the mind,
Taking shape into words
You never even knew were there.
Imagination is strong,
But doesn’t hold the same bond,
The same connection,
To your heart.
I stories I don’t like the expression
‘Write what you know about.’
But in poems,
It works perfectly.
How can this be?
Did the words change?
Or did I change?
One Starry Night
The night is dark and cold,
No early light doth shine,
Far above the stars look old,
In their wondrous design.
All at once I saw a light,
Burning in the sky,
Its radiance goes far into the night,
And I wonder why.
How came this magnificent art,
This beautiful canopy,
If all of us would take a part,
Everyone would see.
Only one could manage it,
All other would be a fraud,
This night so purely lit,
Can only be made by God.
My pins just popped
My skirts too big
Its falling down my waist,
It must be stopped
But what to do?
I am very misplaced.
I'm so ashamed
Gotta admit
I dropped it on the floor,
Hope I'm not famed
For yes indeed
Don't have a skirt no more.
Fall Thoughts
Butterfly, wafting on the wind.
Leaf, drifting drifting.
Both so beautiful
Beautuy beyond beleif.
Are they one?
Are they the same?
One so full of life
One so full of hope
For good things to come.
Then the breeze dies,
And they are gone.
There will be many more,
But will they ever be the same?
Only the wind will know.
Those are all my good poems. Hope you like them!

My skirts too big
Its falling down my waist,
It must be stopped
But what to do?
I am very misplaced.
I'm so ashamed
Gotta admit
I dropped it on the floor,
Hope I'm not famed
For yes indeed
Don't have a skirt no more.
Fall Thoughts
Butterfly, wafting on the wind.
Leaf, drifting drifting.
Both so beautiful
Beautuy beyond beleif.
Are they one?
Are they the same?
One so full of life
One so full of hope
For good things to come.
Then the breeze dies,
And they are gone.
There will be many more,
But will they ever be the same?
Only the wind will know.
Those are all my good poems. Hope you like them!
