Haha. You guys are amazing - It seems like everyone's on a writing high lately!
So, I figure it's my turn since everyone else has posted in the last couple weeks, so here we gooo! [Plus, I've been uber-writing a billion different stories. W()()t!]
Actually, I'm NOT going to post a chapter of a story... Yet.
Instead, I'm giving you teasers. Bwahaha. :D
First Teaser: [As of yet, Untitled]
"I have to explain, before anyone goes assuming, that we’re not the bad guys. We’re only enforcers of something bigger than ourselves, something that we claim to know, yet don’t; something that in a flash of desert lightning, the kind that haunts the entire state of New Mexico, could bring the world as we know it to an end. We were created to limit it; to have something that while obeying and humble, could turn against the force itself and bring it down.
We are the Ayrizon."
The year 2098, and the United States is losing power. Only a force of Ayrizon, a type of police designed to keep control, has reign over anything (or so it's assumed). When the goverments of the states start falling apart and a deadly disease strikes home it seems like all is doomed as it nears the new century.
The disease, though, is man-made. And from the looks of it, it's coming from Rivynn, a retired 16-year-old Ayrizon, she's forced to fight both the disease and a corrupt government that runs under the radar, proving her innocence, with a skeptic, Trey Calvern, who's captian of an Ayrizon squad with a history as mysterious as the young captian himself, before time runs out. [[Fantasy-ish. Not like "CRAZY" fantasy, with flying cars, but modern...ish.]]
Second Teaser: The Book of Acts
"'The Book of Acts,' she read, her brow furrowed. 'Whenever there is sonethitng that you don’t think you can conquer, think again. Follow the rules, play the game, and you’ll win. This book can only be gone over once; twice if you’ve completed it and have waited approximately one year before reopening it. DO NOT, whatsoever, look ahead or move on to the next task before you’ve finished the one in front of it.'"
Jenna Verbeck has been through more than a normal eighteen, almost nineteen year old has. Two years ago, after dating for three years and being engaged for another, her fiancee and only love disappeared without a trace. Her whole future fell apart in front of her face.
But now, two years later, she's gotten better at getting over it. She doesn't think of him much, she doesn't get horribly depressed, so long as no one brings it up, though many things don't stay buired in the town of Harding Township, New Jersey.
When John, Jenna's fiancee, shows up after the painful years, she doesn't want to give up her new life for something that could end up blowing up in her face.
That is, until she found a book that was never meant for her to read, The Book of Acts, containing a list of things John had written down for her to do before she died, as some kind of game, all in his handwriting, that involves her accomplishing everything she's dreamed about...
The only way to do them, though, is with his help. [[Cliche'. But I had to find a way to squeeze the book thing in there. Alas, the story.]]
:D
That's all I have right now, because I'm way lazy and don't want to put my USB drive in.

Oh. My. Gosh.
Both of these are so amazing and I wish I had your brains so I could have thought of them myself! ;)
But I am VERY glad I don't have to choose which to write first. Which one are YOU writing first?
HAPPY EASTER!!!
P.S. How are you surviving with the play, L? Haven't talked to you in awhile.
<3<3<3
You-know-who-or-if-you-don't-you're
-really-stupid.
LOL
Anna
LOL Anna you are so awesome.
Anywho, Lauren thoughs are REALLY REALLY GOOD! Which one are you going to write first? It seems like it would be a very hard choice to make. Good luck with it.
You're in a play Lauren? That's so awesome!
HAPPY EASTER ALL!
Katie
Rofl!! THANK YOU~!
You know, I'm not sure which I'm really going to write first. I'm kind of switching back and forth between them, so they're each partially written. Lol! :P
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU, TOO!
[I got a giant pink bunny. I looove him. :3]
Ahh, the playy... [Yeah, Katie! The lead, too! OwOw! :D] Well...
I still don't know most of my lines. And we have a lineless practice tomorrow.
Uh-oh.
But hey! I've finally nailed the accent!
Lol.
ILOVEYOUUU. ♥
You-know-who-who-knows-the-first-you-know-who-and-isn't-that-stupid-rofl.
lol
Switching between them works too! I'm doing that between my story, My two LOTR's stories and a HP(harry potter) one and I do it all the time! I'll post some of my story soon, I'm working on a Prologue and a new chapter 1 for it cause I wiped out one total chapter(it sounded too cheesy)and now it's a little confusing.
lol my brother(one of 'em) came over on saturday cause he couldn't come on easter and he gave me with little brown bunny whose so soft and has these big eyes and a nose but no mouth and he told me he got it cause he thought it was cute and he liked it's eyes rofl.
WOW! I've never been the lead, but I've been close enough to it to know how hard it is for the lead(my friend was the lead in Anne of Green Gables and I was Marilla and my other friend was Matthew, ....that's another Anna and Erin(Was Keila in it I forgot-if so-SORRY FOR FORGETING KEILA!*hugs you*) and me have in common we were all in Anne of Green gables-kinda odd huh?(not a bad odd)
Good luck on the play Lauren!(especially the lines!)w00t w00t!
lol
