OK i feel kinda dumb for posting twice in a row butttt

I went on a writing spree today, i wrote chapter 4 and 5 and have a plot for 6, I'm just missing 3 and then I'll have them in order sooo i figured I'd post the first chapter of my story, keep in mind that i wrote it in 15 minutes, i haven't edited it so its a rough draft, and i failed grammer. :D lol well i passed..but just barely. Oh & Mrs. Pumpernickels name is likely to change, i just needed something quick and it was the first thing that came to mind..dont ask me how.

Chapter 1: The Funeral
By: Jessica Lacourse

"What a shame.." A woman wearing a dress that was a way too bright shade of purple said to a man who was obviously uncomfortable in a tux, "He was such a lovely man.." She held her champagne glass tightly as she tried to stifle the tears, the man who looked uninterested in his surroundings muttered a "Mmm.. Shame, please excuse me." And walked off leaving the woman there dotting her eyes.
A small child walked up to the casket of her grandfather whom she had admired greatly, a sullen look in her eyes as she stared down at the face of the man who once filled her life with happiness. "Kammy dear." The woman in the purple suit walked over to her. "I'm so sorry about your grandfather.." She said, eyes filled to the brim with tears. "Its okay, Mrs. Pumpernickel," Kamryn said, not able to tear her eyes away from the peaceful look of her grandfathers face, "Mommy said he's in heaven now. Besides as long as he's in our hearts, he's never gone." She had heard her grandfather say that many times about his now passed wife, Kamryn didn't remember much about her, only that she always smiled, something she passed down to her granddaughter. Her grandfather always said that she and her grandmother could light up the room with just a shimmer of their smile.
"Oh you dear dear girl!" Mrs. Pumpernickel cryed out, throwing her arms around Kamryn, "Your wise beyond your 7 years!" Kamryn shyly patted her on her back trying not to be rude and fight back the urge to tell her she is six and would prefer if she would get off of her.
Finally Mrs. Pumpernickel left crying the intire time talking about the wonderful innocence of children in between sobs. Kamryn still was glazing at her grandfather, looking so handsome yet so unknown to her. Her grandfather would never wear a suit, he much preferred his holy shirts and pants and whenever anyone said anything he would just say "I'm holey, and i like it." Such a bad joke, but Kamryn laughed every time..
She felt an arm on her shoulder and turned to see her father standing there, his eyes red and a bit puffy. "Its almost time for the ceremony Kamryn, mommy would prefer you sat with her and the girls." He said quietly, he knew how much John meant to her and how hard this must be.
Kamryn looked over to the back row where her mother sat with her twin sisters and new brother or sister in her tummy. "OK daddy.." She said, turning her focus back to her grandfather. "Well.. you have a few more minutes if you would like to stay." He said, he couldn't pull her away just yet, he just didn't have the heart. "Yes daddy i would." Kamryn said, then politely refused his asking if she would like him to stay with her, she loved her daddy, but this was her grandfathers day.
A few minutes past when the guy who had been talking to Mrs. Pumpernickel came up, he was a squirrely man, a bit twitchy and unnerved he kneeled right next to Kamryn and for some reason felt the need to talk. "Funerals creep me out." He said, Kamryn turned her head and looked at him, "I'm sorry." she said, she didn't say 'Then why are you here.' but she really wanted to. "Yeah yeah, aw well at least the buggers gone, he was always a pain in the butt." He yanked his tie muttering about how it was choking him then walked off.
She once again and for the last time looked at her grandfather, she shrugged off the mans words almost cursing him for talking ill of her grandfather, especially when today was his day, but she knew what her grandfather would say, "Aw now Kam, ignore the mans words. Men cant be held responsible for they're words, that's why you need a good lawyer." Then he would turn and wink at her and she would laugh, she was always laughing around her grandfather.
Then said a final "Goodbye." then a single tear fell from her eye right into the coffin and she walked over to where her mother sat and watched the funeral go bye.

Dude that was awesome!

Hey you told me to be honest and I am ;)

I didn't see too many grammer mistakes but usually my mind corrects them while I'm reading so I'm not the best judge at that lol.

I can't wait to see more of it or (if you publish it) To have the hard cover *winks*

Got to get ready for School,
