That despite all my homework I still have too much time on my hands in some shape or form....I decided to inform you all that we are nearing W.R.'s 1/2 3 year anniversery. Of course that depends on how you count it. If you go from Oct '08 through to until Sept '09 the 27th of next month will be half-way until W.R.'s anniversary. Now, if you want to get technical the 1/2 anniversary probably doesn't really occur until sometime in April-begining of Mayish. [But shh! We won't tell anybody.]
So. Yeah. That's all I felt like pointing out. Happy soon-to-be-half-way-anniversary!

I suppose that if I am going to come on here and post the least I can do is include some of my writing! So, here we go I'll give you this poem-thing I had to write for my Poetry Anthology in school. Our process of writing it was this: First, we had to write a "journal entry" dealing with our Anthology theme [love in my case]. After we wrote the entry we disected it, putting it into seperate lines based on where you took pauses, etc... Once we finished that task we took out the unnecessary wordsand left only enough so the reader would still understand the poem [which was difficult for me!].
Anyway, this is the outcome - feel free to comment my fellow writers :)

Disposed of like clothing,
We can just find,

I have still been writing, but mostly poems. Rewriting my nano didn't go so well. Though I might post my first chapter, and then my rewritten chapter, to see what you all think....
I'm sorry to hear rewriting your nano didn't go so well! [I never got to read that by the way :P] You should definately post them! I'd love to see them, perhaps we could be a bit of help. :] Annora's story went alright, I got six chapters in it, though I did not reach w/c but it was better than nothing.

Yay I'm so glad people are posting again. :D And happy two and a half year indeed! That poem is beautiful Katie. :) Such a good subject. If you think it could flow better mess around with it a bit, I bet you could fix it for yourself. *I* think its beautiful though, and yes I know I already said that. :P Thanks for posting and getting us off our butts! I guess its my turn next. I have been writing, working on a poem novel actually based on a fairytale... Maybe I will post some of that soon, I'm definitely curious to see what you'll think! I've been writing a lot of poetry though, as Kelia says, it can capture the moment so well. Didn't know what I was missing out on before. Now I have to go comment the other posts. o_O Busy busy. :P
