Myra stared at me with and intensity I had never seen in her. “You’ve
got to do something, Galen,” she whispered. “Find some way to stop it.”
“Stop what?” I asked, unnerved by this new side of my sister. And that
was when the world exploded. There was a huge sound and I was thrown off
my feet, suddenly all I could see was black, black falling from the sky
and coating the broken room. I got cautiously on my feet and stared at
the shambles-- this had once been our house. “Myra?” I called out,
wiping the ash from my eyes. “Myra where are you?” There was no answer
and I stumbled around the room looking. And there she was under a table,
her arms wrapped around her head. “Are you alright?” I stooped down and
picked up the little girl. She looked at me then, and her gaze was normal.
“I saw it Galen,” she said, sounding surprised. “I saw it before it
happened.” That froze me cold. Was that what my mother had meant, then,
so many years ago? ‘Our family is different,’ she had told me. ‘You will
find out why sooner or later. But always remember, being different is
not wrong.’ That had been the night before she died and we were put in
the care of our aunt and uncle. I stood there in the wreckage of our
life and realized a new one had begun.

And the next one, I absolutely HATE!!!!!!!! You probably wont think its that bad, but believe me it is. I'm so used to writing in the first person of Ali I dont know how to do her out of her thoughts, and I'm so used to seeing Roald through her thoughts I dont know what his thoughts would be like. If you got that at all! But it annoyed me sooooooo bad and it's going to be way different when I get to that spot in the actual story. And it isnt the whole scene, I got frustrated and gave up.
They were closing in fast, Ali looked desperate and I tried to think of
a way to fend them all off. “No!” Ali exclaimed suddenly, I looked over
fast. She looked mad, Seraphim had just said something to her. “I cant
leave you out here!” I wished I could understand Seraphim too as I
watched her struggle. “I know they’re only humans and you’ll be able to
take care of them fine, but…”
“Listen,” I cut in. “What does he want us to do? Isn’t protecting the
secret the whole point?”
“Yes,” she growled. “But Seraphim wants us to go in and release it. He
says that’s the only way to get out of here with our lives intact.”
“Well maybe we should do what he says,” I said, frowning. “And I know
you’d rather leave with your life intact too.”
“Well come on then,” she turned to the opening of the cave, but stopped
short. “Wait Seraphim, isn’t both a human and a dragon supposed to be
there to release the secret?” I held my breath and watched as Seraphim
turned to look at me, then glanced at the sinking sun. Whatever he said
was probably along the lines on ‘you’ll be fine’ because Ali gave a
confused look but dashed into the cave. I followed suit, as arrows were
suddenly raining down on us.
The cave was dark and twisty, more like a tunnel then a cave. Seraphim
would’ve been hard pressed to get through there, but I didn’t have much
time to worry about that as Ali rounded a corner and gasped. It opened
up into a huge round room that was full of light, coming from something
round revolving in the center.
“What is it?” she gasped, shielding her eyes from the light.
“Looks like the secret,” I grinned, we were here at last. But my smile
quickly faded. “Listen Ali, I have to tell you something really important.”
“What’s more important then the secret, Roald?” she laughed, turning
towards me.
“You’ve heard of Werewolves, right?” I asked, my stomach roiling at the
thought of what I was about to tell her.
“Yeah…”
“Well I’m kind of like them.” I swallowed and quickly continued. “I’m a
Were Dragon.” She reacted just like I’d thought she would, staring at me
with laughing eyes.
“There’s no such thing as a Were Dragon,” she scoffed after a moment of
silence. “Not very funny, Roald. Come one, we’ve got important things to
do.”
“Its true,” I insisted, squinting at the light. My eyes were suddenly
becoming more sensitive. “And even if you don’t believe it, you’re going
to see its true.”
“Why’s that?” she was still pretending not to believe me, but she looked
worried.
“The sun’s going down” Was all I said before I started changing.

There you have it! Now we only need Jessie's for ALL of us to have done this challenge. And I agree with you Katie, the next one shouldnt be in any way related to a short story.

WOOO!!! FIRST!!!
I'm so HAPPY!!!!!
Okay, now onto the story thingys. They're both really great, Kelia! I love how like, their both kind of the same genre in a ways but COMPLETELY different (yeah...okay...makes no sense but it does in my head!)
They're both really good, I'm not sure which one is my favorite really they're both really good and I kind of wish there was more to them!!! The second one doesn't seem to cut off to me, it seems to end just on time really really, like I don't feel cut off. Of course.
That's me.
One more person to go!!! :D
Amazing, KrazyK :D,
Loveyou10x'sovergirly,

P.S. My recent LoTR chapter should be up sometime today!!!! :D
Well I just completely butchered the English language in that comment. Their when it should be They're. No commas where they should be. Ugh.
Man....I truly don't want to edit my stories in the future :P
LMAO Katie, that's what editors are for! ;)
As to your challenges Kelia, you know I like both of them! I think you should actually write a story for the first one (as much as you hate that idea bwahaha). And the second doesn't seem awkward or weird at all! Like Katie, said, I wish there was more to both. :)
I still think the weredragons thing is really cool. And that was actually a great place to end it, even if you didn't mean to there. Great job, girl! *high five*
Now Jessie. We expect to be seeing something of yours soon... o_O
:P

Lol I know, reading it again it isnt that awful. But I know how much BETTER it could be if it were through Ali's eyes! Waay better. And I tried writing a story for the short one, Anna, and it didnt work. Rather it could have, but it would be way too depressing and dark. So maybe someday!
Thank you Katie! :D
